Glasses

Vision impairment affects one in three people, with two in three unable to afford eye care. Emmanuel Life Foundation is dedicated to addressing this disparity, offering free eye screenings and distributing over 30,000 prescription glasses to underserved people across the Congo, ensuring comprehensive vision correction for those in need.

Maternity

Dramatically Reduce the Risk for Birth Injuries and Deaths. The D.R.C has one of the highest infant mortality rates in the world, with 104 deaths per 1,000 live births, according to the Congolese Demographic Health Survey. Five years ago it was 146 deaths per 1,000 live births

Your donations will provide local women with access to life saving, critical maternal care (cesarean deliveries) when the women and/or families cannot pay. These funds are effective in preventing devastating birthing injuries (fistula) and protecting women and children from death during childbirth.

Women in the DR Congo should be able to choose health and hope rather than suffering and death.

Education

The Democratic Republic of the Congo’s education system is plagued by low coverage and poor quality. 3.5 million children of primary school age are not in school, and of those who do attend, 44 percent start school late, after the age of six. National data indicate that only 67 percent of children who enter first grade will complete sixth grade. Of those who reach 6th grade, only 75 percent will pass the exit exam.

We are focused on educating children who are being removed from the mining sector but cannot afford to pay for a place in school in order to gain an education.

There are a large number of children being exploited in the artisanal mines in Congo. These children are paid around 8p a day to scrabble through earth finding the cobalt mineral which is used in mobile phones and other electronic devices. Conditions are poor, dangerous and violence is always a threat.

Your donations will enable children go to school for one year. Your donation will also pay for the children’s school fees, buy shoes, uniforms provide three meals a day, pay for teachers salaries and help and help build schools.

It will decrease the risk of being further exploited or encouraged to join local militia as child soldiers.

Education changes lives.

Agriculture

We are on a mission to transform agriculture and empower communities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Our charity seeks to aid and implement modern tools and technology, revolutionizing farming practices to efficiently produce food for the population. By embracing innovation, we not only address food security but also create job opportunities and provide essential training for local residents. Join us in cultivating a sustainable future where technology and update resources fuels prosperity and abundance for all.

“We bring the fish and train locals to fish for themselves. Not one without the other.”
